UPDATE: 25th December 2004.
Why do I have nothing better to do on Christmas Day than update my website?! Katherine has chicken pox, poor little
baby, so we're spending Christmas in isolation. Fortunately it's not too bad a case, and although she's pretty miserable
with it, she still had fun opening her presents.
Father Christmas had a surprise success with four little plastic ducks for the bath and Katherine was pleased with
her main present from us - a large wooden rocking snail. When we put her in it she learnt to rock herself straight away.
Everything we gave her, however, was beaten by two little cracker presents....

UPDATE:
15th October 2004. Katherine's 1st birthday!!!! She was showered with presents in the morning and we took her
to Windsor to see the castle. See pictures.
UPDATE: 30th
September 2004. Katherine has just recovered from her first cold, which we feel is pretty good going for nearly a year
old. I've started taking her to a playgroup and she is on the waiting list to start at a local nursery for two
mornings a week. She's very good at pulling
herself up on furniture now and has taken a shaky step or two - while holding onto her lion. See new pictures.

Greetings, Visitors!
I've set this site up so friends and family
can have an occasional look to see how Katherine's getting on. I haven't been managing to update this site as regularly
as I would like, but there's usually something new to view every month.
About Katherine:
Katherine Verity Sayers was born
on 15.10.03 in the Henley Room of the Marsh Ward at the Royal Berkshire Hospital to Mark and Verity at 19.27pm.
She weighed 7lb and 14oz, with a head circumference of 34cm.
She now weighs 201b 13oz (26.08.04) Her hair is getting longer by
the day and is a golden-brown colour at the moment. Her eyes remain a bright blue with dark lashes.

| On holiday in Brittany |
OUR
HOLIDAY!!!! (Updated 2nd August) We got back from holiday in Brittany two days ago now, and I have created
a new page for our holiday pictures. Click here for the link. Katherine had a lovely time on holiday and is getting more active and alert than ever. She doesn't
crawl, but her reaching/rolling range is pretty impressive. She can get things I think are well out of her
way. And its always interesting to see what sort of position she'll be in when we get her out of her cot in the
morning - sitting up, facing the other way, jammed between the bars or kneeling holding onto them are a few of her
favourites.
She missed her snow leopard while we were on holiday
and covered it in kisses when we got back - but she did acquire while we were away: a toucan, a singing bird, a
seal and two books. As Mark said, nearly a present for every day we were away. This is a spoilt baby.
